What mechanisms of intrinsic and extrinsic motivation are at work in your organization? To whom do these apply? What characteristics or situational variables lead you to use intrinsic and extrinsic motivation at different times?

In answering these questions, you should be specific about financial compensation in its different forms (salary, piece rate, bonuses, merit pay), benefits, recognition, intrinsic motivation, and any other techniques you feel appropriate to describe.
