Why did some of the countries mentioned in this film develop their nuclear arms programs secretly? Putting aside the case of the U.S. and Russia, what were/are some of the justifications made by other states? Do they make sense to you?
(3) Do you personally think that the issue of nuclear weapons and proliferation of nuclear weapons are important issues for global security? Did the film make you feel a bit more concerned about so-called “rogue” countries such as North Korea and Iran obtaining nuclear weapons and becoming nuclear powers? Or do you think other types of weapons of war are more worrisome?
