Your paper should offer an analysis of the case, drawing on the ethical concepts introduced in
the textbook, including ethical theories, discussions of types of values, models of corporate
social responsibility, moral rights, employee responsibilities, marketing ethics, and sustainability.
It should have a clear thesis, supported by argument.
Your paper should contain the following elements:
1. A description of the problem in the case;
2. Identification of the ethical issues in the case;
3. Quotations (cited) from one or more spokespeople for the Company, or other experts in ethical
analysis, in defense of, or opposition to the Company or otherwise discussing the issues in the
4. Your evaluation of the case and recommendations for a more ethical outcome; (Your thesis,
which should appear in the first paragraph of your paper.)
5. A bibliography of your sources.
Papers should be between 750 and 1,000 words. Anything beyond 1,000 words will not be read
and you will be graded only on what came beforehand.
Late papers will not be accepted. However, you may receive an extension if you request it before
the paper is due.
